How much is the charge?
Typically the fee will range $1800-$3500 per property (additional fees may apply). This amount may be paid in full at onset of services or as an initial lump payment plus any expedited handling charges. An affordable monthly monitoring fee of $250 per property/mortgage for up to 3 months applies to all files.
Are there any additional charges?
During the loss mitigation process, it may become apparent that additional legal services are necessary to pursue the Client objective. We will assess these needs and propose them as a new or amended Contract. Only those services specifically outlined in the Contract can be performed on any file, but rest assured, we will inform you of your options and will assess the progress of your matter diligently to achieve your goal.
Do you charge extra if you have two mortgages, or the home is pending foreclosure?
There are additional charges associated with the urgent processing of foreclosure aversion and multiple mortgages associated with the same property.
Is there a Money Back Guarantee?
The fees paid are for the processing services associated with negotiation of new terms of the loan agreement. As with most other legal services, there are no guarantees of outcome, but we do guarantee professional and diligent processing of your request.
How long will it take and what can I realistically expect?
Processing time varies due to file status and Lender review but we anticipate 30-90 day turnaround on most files. Our goal is to secure the best possible option available from your Lender to meet your needs.
